On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I warmly congratulate you on your professional holiday – Teacher Day.

We highly appreciate your work. You are doing a challenging, highly responsible and important work. The teacher has always been the best carrier and disseminator of spiritual and moral values.

The light and knowledge, the love and warmth you provide to children will surely leave a mark on each of them on their way to self-assertion. Each of us holds in memory the image of the teacher who taught us the art of thinking and understanding the world, defying challenges, believing and triumphing. I cherish vivid memories of all my teachers to whom I owe much for my achievements.
Our country’s independence and nationhood not only made it possible to embrace the path of democracy in the field of education, but also to build up spiritual and intellectual capacity aimed at strengthening and developing national and universal values.

Our country’s future depends on educated and developed society, therefore, the reforms aimed at enhancing the affordability and quality of education will be continued. As Prime Minister, I will personally back any initiative aimed at developing the sphere of education and raising the teachers' qualifications.

We have embarked on the implementation of the National Program for Excellence in Education, which seeks to prioritize the teachers’ role in society and give relief to their professional.

Teachers are the center of the Government’s attention and as the crucial task of educating the younger generation, our future citizens is entrusted to you. Consistent efforts will continue toward addressing our teachers’ social, economic and welfare issues.

Dear teachers, your achievements are obvious: today’s soldiers, scientists, doctors and builders are your former pupils, who are weathering the current difficulties and challenges to build a powerful and independent state.

Reiterating my congratulations, I wish you robust health, every success in your patriotic and responsible job and many new achievements.

Our future success lies in well-educated young people and students, as well as in the trinity of Motherland-Artsakh-Diaspora.”
