Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the newly appointed Ambassador of France to Armenia, Florian Escudié

Welcoming the Ambassador, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated him on his appointment and wished him success in his important work. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership with France for Armenia and expressed hope that the Ambassador will contribute to the further deepening of this partnership.

Opportunities to boost trade and economic relations were discussed, and in this context, both sides highlighted the importance of adopting EU interim measures for trade liberalization.

The sides exchanged views on chances for expanding the presence of French-owned companies in the Armenian economy.

Regional developments were also addressed.
