Curriculum Vitae
Artur Gasparyan was born on September 13, 1976 in the city of Yerevan, in the family of an officer.
Studied at the Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia in 1993-2000, majoring in joint command.
From 1996 to 2002 served in the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, holding the positions of platoon commander and company commander.
Worked at "Metropol" LLC as a security officer in 2002-2005.
Served in the State Protection Service of the national security bodies, occupying the position of officer, 2008-2009 - senior officer, 2009-2018 - senior bodyguard, 2018-2021 - head of division, 2021-2021 - head of department, 2021-2023 - regiment commander.
By the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, he was appointed Deputy Head of the State Protection Service of the Republic of Armenia on May 2, 2023.
Performed the duties of the head of the State Protection Service of the Republic of Armenia from September 9, 2023.
By the decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, he was appointed the Head of the State Protection Service of the Republic of Armenia on March 4, 2024.
He has the military rank of colonel.
He was awarded the "Combat Service" medal, departmental medals and badges of the National Security Service, Police and Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
He is married with two children.
