PM Receives John Heffern
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern. Talking about the U.S.-Armenian relations, both sides appreciated their high level and development dynamics. The Prime Minister dwelt on Armenia’s public administration reform which is to be continued in 2013. Stressing the importance of diversified cooperation, the parties focused on those programs aimed at supporting the reform process.
FREDA Trustees Hold Meeting
Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the board of trustees of the Fund for Rural Economic Development of Armenia (FREDA) held a regular meeting at the Office of Government. The meeting approved the independent auditor’s findings and the 2011 report on FREDA activities, as well as the FREDA-circulated draft report due to be submitted to the Ministry of Justice.
