Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan receives Head of the IMF Mission to Armenia
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission to Armenia Nathan Porter. The IMF Resident Representative in Armenia Mehdi Raissi was present at the meeting.
Greeting the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister presented the main framework of the reforms envisaged by the Government Action Plan. The IMF partners noted with satisfaction that the priorities defined by the IMF program are reflected in the Government’s Action Plan.
The importance of effective management of public investments, improvement of tax policy and administration systems, promotion of business transparency, improvement of legislative field for state-private sector partnership as well as the opportunity of deepening of cooperation in these directions were emphasized.
