Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan receives Ambassador of France
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Anne Louyot.
Greeting the Ambassador, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated her on the appointment and mentioned that the relations with France have always been of special importance for Armenia. Taking the opportunity of the meeting, Mher Grigoryan once again highly appreciated the support provided to Armenia by France during all difficult situations.
The Ambassador of France emphasized that she will make maximum efforts for further deepening and enlargement of the Armenian-French relations.
The interlocutors discussed the possible directions of cooperation between the two countries. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister presented a number of priority fields of cooperation, such as development of infrastructure, water sector and information technologies.
Referring to the process of resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the role of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs’ format.
A reference was made also to regional developments, including to opportunities of unblocking of regional transport and economic ties.
