Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan receives representative of Konrad Adenauer Foundation Thomas Schrapel


 Today, Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan received Thomas Schrapel, Head of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation's "Political Dialogue South Caucasus" Regional Programme.

Touching upon the programs implemented by the Foundation in the economic, educational and political spheres, the Deputy Prime Minister particularly emphasized the importance of the technological education program for public servants.

The representative of the Foundation Thomas Schrapel thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for the reception and stressed that the advantage of the Armenian Government over a number of other countries is the open, transparent working style and the readiness to implement programs aimed at sectoral reforms.

During the meeting, the sides also outlined the directions of expanding cooperation, including implementation of new technological educational programs for public servants, organization of study visits to technologically developed countries, as well as planning technological education programs for a number of spheres: lawyers, doctors, engineers and other specialists.
