Arayik Harutyunyan participates in "Artavazd" annual theatrical awards ceremony
The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan participated in the annual "Artavazd" theatrical awards ceremony at the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater after Spendiaryan on March 27, the World Theatre Day. The 2022 awards ceremony was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Gabriel Sundukyan State Academic Theater.
Prizes were awarded in 17 categories within the framework of "Artavazd 2022". This year, two more nominations have been added: "Best Plastic Performance" and "Best Theatrical Article". The special “Avet Avetisyan” and "Artavazd" prizes for "Impeccable Service to Theatrical Art" were awarded.
The awards ceremony was initiated by the Theatre Workers Union of Armenia, sponsored by Yerevan City Council, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the Public Television of Armenia.
The annual Artavazd theatrical awards, traditionally held on World Theatre Day on March 27, summerises the work done in the previous year.
