Arayik Harutyunyan gets acquainted with the process of the architectural designing of the "Life Park"
Today, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan visited the Yerevan Botanical Garden, got acquainted with the process of architectural designing of the "Life Park" dedicated to the victims of the Artsakh wars to be built in the park.
The Chief of Staff was accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Armen Ghularyan, Director of "Yerevannakhagits" CJSC Sirekan Ohanyan.
According to the officials in charge, the park will be on the left side of the Botanical Garden, stretching to the hill, where the symbolic monument is planned to be installed. Arayik Harutyunyan was informed that in addition to landscaping works, general improvement, irrigation and external lighting works will be carried out. During the tour it was agreed to summarize the project in the near future, taking into account all the presented observations and suggestions. The works are planned to start this year and be completed in 3-5 years.
Referring to the symbolism of the park, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister emphasized, “According to the design, if you look at the "Life Park" from above, it has the structure of a human heart, that is, it is a park that gives life in itself. Here we want to praise life, to declare that all the soldiers, all the citizens who sacrificed their lives for the state, for the country, for our Homeland, gave their lives so that their compatriots could continue to live and create. The great attention that we now pay to every detail of the park is to use that very creativity, the opportunity for creativity they gave us”.
