The regular sitting of the interdepartmental commission coordinating the measures on preventing the spread of coronavirus took place
The regular sitting of the interdepartmental commission coordinating the measures on preventing the spread of the coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia took place on April 19, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan, with the participation of the leadership of the concerned state bodies and MPs.
The Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan presented the current epidemiological situation of coronavirus disease in Yerevan and the regions, the vaccinations process against the disease, stressed that though the recent results show positive dynamics, however, it is necessary to spare no time and continue the vaccination process to avoid high mortality rate in case of outbreak of a new wave.
During the sitting, inter alia, reference was made to the process of fulfillment of the instructions given by Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan during the previous sitting.
