Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan honors the memory of heroes of Bash-Aparan battle
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and other high-ranking officials took part in the events organized by the Aparan Municipality on the occasion of the Republic Day, the Battle of Bash-Aparan, the day of the city. The events started from the Holy Cross Church in Aparan, where the participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the heroes of the Bash-Aparan battle.
Within the framework of the event, the Deputy Prime Minister toured the pavilions installed in the city, then visited the "Renaissance" memorial in Aparan, laid a wreath at the memorial to the heroes of the Bash-Aparan battle, and paid tribute to their memory.
During the visit, Mher Grigoryan paid tribute and laid flowers also at the tomb of Dro (Drastamat Kanayan), as well as visited the military pantheon, laid flowers at the tombs of soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland.
