All servicemen who submitted application in 2022 will get preferential mortgage
A regular Cabinet meeting took place today, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan.
Aiming to expand the range of beneficiaries of the long-term mortgage program with affordable and preferential conditions for the purchase of an apartment or a residential house or the construction of a residential house by officers and and senior non-commissioned officers of the Ministry of Defense, the Government made additions and changes to the previous decision. It envisages to provide an opportunity to all servicemen who submitted an application in 2022 to benefit from the mentioned program. With the adoption of the decision, 526 servicemen will get the necessary reference for crediting. Priority access to the program is provided also to military servicemen admitted to a military educational institution before July 1, 2022 and entering military service after graduation, in case of applying within 5 years after graduation.
The Government approved the legislative initiative of the Government on the draft law of the Republic of Armenia "On approving the state development program of education until 2030", which will be submitted to the National Assembly according to the standard procedure. It was noted that the individual is at the core of the program, and the expansion of his abilities is a means of developing human capital. The ultimate goal is to form an effective and competitive educational system based on national and universal values, aimed at the development of the Republic of Armenia.
The Government adopted a decision on making redistribution of capital expenditures of the 2022 state budget and allocating 851 million AMD to the Ministry of Health for the construction/reconstruction of 5 medical centers and the preparation of a package of design budget documents for the construction of 1 medical center. All medical centers will be equipped with necessary new equipment and property in order to provide accessible and quality medical care within the framework of the principle of balanced development of regions. With the adoption of the decision, the number of medical organizations subject to construction and reconstruction will reach 13, of which 2 are of national importance, 11 of regional importance. The Minister noted that by the end of the year, the complete packages of design budget documents for another 6 medical organizations will be ready, the construction works of some of which are planned to start this year.
Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan noted that the Government, within the framework of health system development, has undertaken to regulate the issue of construction/reconstruction of medical centers, improvement of physical conditions and re-equipment with new, modern equipment.
The procedure, standards and tools for assessing a person's functionality have been approved by Government decisions. It is planned to introduce an effective structure for multifaceted assessment of a person's functionality and disability, based on World Health Organization’s ICF principles and approaches.
