"You are the bearer of the best profession, which makes history by what it creates." Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan congratulates the graduates of the University of Architecture and Construction
On August 26, Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan, participated in the ceremony of handing over the graduation certificates of the 2022 graduates of the State University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia during his visit to Kotayk Province.
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Vahram Dumanyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Gnel Sanosyan, Kotayk Governor Aharon Sahakyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Armen Ghularyan, Rector of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia Yeghiazar Vardanyan, other officials were also present at the event.
In his speech addressed to the graduates, Deputy PM Matevosyan said,
“The Republic of Armenia, in response to the most serious challenges facing it, today must present itself to the world with its young generation, responsible and creative young people who are ready to strengthen and build their homeland, relying on the power of knowledge, who are ready to become advocates of peace, solidarity and kindness in our country and all over the world.
The development of education and science is a priority for the Government of the Republic of Armenia, based on which it is only possible to achieve the country's stable development and general welfare.
In its 2021-2026 Action Plan, the Government has declared reforms in the field of higher education as a priority for the development of the country, aiming to strengthen the "education-science-labor market" link, preparing specialists who meet the new requirements of the labor market, and contributing to the formation of a capable, competitive citizen who sees his future in his own country.
The National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia occupies an important place among Armenian universities providing higher education, which prepares specialists who make a great contribution to the prosperity of our country, who, I am sure, will fulfill the mission of making the country prosperous with honor.
You are aware that in recent years large-scale road construction and school construction works are underway in the Republic, hospitals, kindergartens are being built, and they are being brought to life thanks to professional specialists: designers, engineers, builders.
During regional visits, I personally visit the construction sites, get to know the builders, see their dedicated work and thank them for their painstaking and compassionate work.
Remember: You are the bearer of the best profession, which makes history by what it creates.
Therefore, I want you to make that history with quality and responsibility for the sake of us and our future generations.

I congratulate all of you and wish you to use your strength and knowledge to strengthen our Motherland.
