Such festivals are an additional incentive for the development of science and education. Arayik Harutyunyan at the closing ceremony of the 6th STARMUS festival
Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of the Prime Minister Staff, attended the closing ceremony of the 6th STARMUS International Science and Art Festival at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan today.President Vahagn Khachaturyan was also present at the closing ceremony of the festival.
Welcoming the attendees, Arayik Harutyunyan noted that some serious results were possible to achieve through Starmus. "During the events, we saw that there is a huge demand for these directions in the Republic of Armenia. We have recorded that most or all of our problems are related to the quality of education, and we pay attention to that. Such events are an additional incentive for the development of these directions, because education and science without art no longer exist. And Starmus is their best combination."
According to Arayik Harutyunyan, many discoveries were made during the festival. "We discovered for ourselves how much potential there is in Armenia. Yes, we have forgotten greats whom we remembered, in particular, Kemurdzian, and this is also thanks to the "Starmus" team with experience in different countries of the world, which presented a very interesting program. And we will definitely apply that best practice in the Republic of Armenia."
The Chief of Staff thanked the organizing committee and the big team of "Starmus". "You brought a new culture to the development of these areas, and we will definitely benefit from that culture and values. And I want to express special thanks to Garik Israelian, co-founder of Starmus festival. He is the best example of an Armenian in Diaspora, rendering services to his homeland living outside the borders of Armenia. And "Starmus" will also be remembered in Armenia by Garik Israelian," Arayik Harutyunyan said, expressing confidence that the development of these directions, "Starmus"-es will be permanent in Armenia.
Arayik Harutyunyan, together with Vahagn Khachaturyan, also visited the "Science Camp" opened in Freedom Square within the framework of the "Starmus VI" international festival, and got acquainted with the newest scientific achievements presented there.
