Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan receives director of regional program director for Eurasia of the International Republican Institute Stephen Nix
On September 9, Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan received Stephen Nix, director of regional program director for Eurasia of the International Republican Institute.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the successful experience of cooperation between the Government and the International Republican Institute aimed at improving public communication and implementation of many programs and events in the field of public opinion research. Among them, the measures aimed at combating disinformation, the "Government Speakers School" initiative were highlighted, and, taking into account the goals of the Armenian Government and the International Republican Institute and their willingness for cooperation, Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan also emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation in the direction of creating a more comprehensive public awareness system, in particular, introduction of institutional mechanisms for public awareness.

thanked the Deputy PM for the reception and emphasized that they are ready to support the Armenian Government in successfully implementing the ongoing democratic reforms.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
