The head of the Cadastre Committee Suren Tovmasyan noted that the existence of the spatial data infrastructure and its interconnection with various sector components contributes to making decisions in the management system based on reliable and accurate data. About 2 months ago, the national spatial data infrastructure, the national geoportal, was launched, and the cartographic module was also designed. It is available on maparmenia.am website.

The Government approved the draft laws on amendments to the Republic of Armenia Law "On Advertising", on amendments and supplements to the Republic of Armenia Law "On Medicines", on amendments to the Republic of Armenia Code on Administrative Offenses. The drafts will be submitted to the National Assembly in the prescribed manner. Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan reported that the package refers to the external advertising of drugs, the goal is to create an equal environment between different advertised companies. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan emphasized the active participation of the Ministry of Health in the discussion and implementation of this legislative package. Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan reported that the proposed change only applies to over-the-counter drugs, the scope of which is very narrow. The package will still be discussed in the National Assembly, and only as a result of a unified approach the draft will take its final form.

By another decision, the draft laws on amendments and supplements to the Republic of Armenia Tax Code and on amendments to the Law on Temporary Incapacity and Maternity Benefits were approved. The drafts will be submitted to the National Assembly in the prescribed manner. Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan reported that the package refers to the changes in taxation rules in the field of micro-entrepreneurship. The aim is to revise the micro-enterprise taxation system in a way that it actually serves the originally set objectives. He noted that the Ministry of Finance will continue to present proposals for changes aimed at creating a unified taxation regime, while such partial regulations will allow to reduce the observed loopholes and the platform for tax evasion, as long as different taxation regimes are in place.
