Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan receives the delegation led by the Chairman of Sharjah Institute for Heritage


On October 21, Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan received the delegation headed by Abdulaziz Almusallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Heritage Institute.

Welcoming the participants of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of continuous strengthening and development of Armenia-UAE friendly relations.

Referring to the cooperation with the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, Matevosyan emphasized the need to expand the existing agenda with new directions of mutual interest. In this context, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the expansion of institutional cooperation in the fields of culture and education and the formation of new platforms for intercultural dialogue. Abdulaziz Almusallam presented to the Deputy Prime Minister the already launched joint programs in these directions, expressing confidence about their continuation.

The Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage also conveyed to the Deputy Prime Minister the greetings of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, reaffirming the willingness to contribute to the further deepening of bilateral relations.
