Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan participates in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan participated in the St. Petersburg 25th International Economic Forum "Partnership in Eurasia. New opportunities" panel discussion, in which, among other high-ranking officials, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Alexei Overchuk, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakhyt Sultanov, participated.
During the panel discussion, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the need to counter current challenges, including food security problems. In that context, he emphasized the implementation of consolidated efforts to ensure food security, noting that this issue should be one of the main directions of the EAEU.
The Deputy Prime Minister referred to the logistics challenges facing Armenia in current conditions. Referring to the transport infrastructure, Mher Grigoryan emphasized the regional importance of the North-South highway being built in Armenia.
In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan also referred to the need to increase trade volumes in national currencies within the EAEU.
