Deputy PM Tigran Khachatryan receives French Ambassador to Armenia Anne Louyot
Today, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Armenia Anne Louyot.
Welcoming the Ambassador, Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan emphasized that the Government of Armenia highly appreciates France's commitment to developing and expanding economic cooperation with Armenia. The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of the assistance of the French side to the reform agenda implemented by the Armenian Government, emphasizing the implementation of consistent works aimed at fulfilling the provisions of the 2021-2026 Armenian-French economic cooperation road map.
Referring to the presence of large French organizations in Armenia's economy, Ambassador Louyot expressed the willingness of the French side to continue providing support for the implementation of both short-term programs and long-term strategic reforms.
During the meeting, reference was made to the humanitarian situation created in Nagorno-Karabakh resulted by the blocking of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan, as well as the possibilities of developing cooperation in the direction of programs of mutual interest.
