Tigran Khachatryan receives the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan had a meeting with Nicholas Schermers, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia.
"The positive dynamics in the Armenian-Dutch bilateral relations should be noted with satisfaction. In 2022, an increase of more than 20% of mutual trade was recorded compared to the previous year. We should make continuous efforts to strengthen this trend and use the existing potential between our countries to the maximum," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Ambassador Schermers congratulated the Deputy Prime Minister on assuming the post and expressed the willingness of the Dutch side to make greater progress in the already exisiting partnering relations.
The interlocutors reflected on the current agenda of the Armenian-Dutch relations, discussed the strengthening of business ties and the implementation of public administration reforms, the development of human capital and state institutions, the protection of human rights, the accomplishment of civil society and democratic institutions.
