Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan receives the German ambassador
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan today received Victor Richter, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia. Madeleine Rauschenberger, Director of the Armenian Office of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and Zara Chatinyan, the representative of the Armenian Office of the German Development Bank (KfW), also participated in the meeting.
Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan highly assessed the current dynamics of bilateral relations, expressing confidence in the continuous expansion of cooperation, as well as highlighted the work done by the GIZ Armenian office in all directions and thanked the German partners for supporting Armenia's development agenda. The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of the projects implemented in Armenia with the support of the German Development Bank.
Thanking for the reception, Ambassador Richter spoke with satisfaction about the bilateral cooperation and noted the development potential of the Armenian-German cooperation in a number of fields.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the fields of education and culture, trade and economy, high technologies, infrastructure and territorial administration.
