The regular session of the Interdepartmental Coordination Council for the Implementation of the Requirements and Provisions of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement was held
Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, the regular session of the Interdepartmental Coordination Council for the Implementation of the Requirements and Provisions of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement was held.
Welcoming the attendees, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the format of the interdepartmental coordination council for ensuring the necessary interaction between various departments aimed at the effective implementation of the commitments of Armenia under the Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement set at the National level for 2021-2030.
During the session, the activities of the Council and the interdepartmental working groups operating within its framework, as well as a number of important issues stemming from commitments assumed by Armenia under the Paris Agreement, including the atmospheric air monitoring system, the development of renewable energy, energy-efficient housing construction and other directions, became the subject of discussion.
