Arayik Harutyunyan chairs the discussion on the process of organizing the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games in Gyumri
Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games, chaired a working meeting today in the regional administration of Shirak Province with the participation of Shirak Governor Mushegh Muradyan, Chairman of the World Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games Ishkhan Zakaryan, head of Gyumri community, leaders of law enforcement agencies, officials from the regional administration of Shirak.
Issues related to the organization of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games were discussed. Arayik Harutyunyan inquired about the already implemented and ongoing works, noting that everything should be done to hold the Pan-Armenian Games at a high level.
The Governor of Shirak assured that effort and energy are not spared for the solution of each problem.
During the consultation, reference was made to the tasks of each department, the need for interrelated work of all services. The timely implementation of the steps outlined for each structure was emphasized.
Next, Arayik Harutyunyan visited the city stadium of Gyumri, where the opening ceremony of the Pan-Armenian Games will take place. Tigran Virabyan, the producer of the opening ceremony of the games, and Aramayis Hayrapetyan, the director of the event, presented details related to the staging of the ceremony and the program of the event.
At the moment, the street next to the stadium is being asphalted. 2,380 square meters of two-layer asphalt paving of the carriageway, sidewalk construction were carried out. 66 million 417 thousand AMD were allocated for the reconstruction of the western side of the city stadium.
The draws for the football and futsal subgroup competitions of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games were also held today, which were also attended by Arayik Harutyunyan, governor Mushegh Muradyan, and Ishkhan Zakaryan. Based on the results of the draws, the Football Federation of Armenia will draw up the game schedules and announce the competition venues in the coming days.
