The Governmental Committee spared no effort to make the Pan-Armenian Games the best in history. Arayik Harutyunyan
Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games Arayik Harutyunyan attended today the opening ceremony of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games at the Gyumri City Stadium.
Arayik Harutyunyan made a welcome speech, in which he specifically stated:
"Honorable Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia,
Honorable Mr. President,
Honorable President of the National Assembly,
Dear Cabinet members,
Members of the Executive Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games,
Dear participants of the Pan-Armenian Games,
I welcome all of you.
The Governmental committee created a few months ago spared no effort to make the Pan-Armenian Games the best in its history. I think that we have been able to meet the high bar set by us from the first day, we will continue that way and we will announce on August 19 that our compatriots who were here enjoyed the Pan-Armenian Games, loved the Republic of Armenia and committed to return to the Motherland.

As the anthem of the Pan-Armenian Games says, give me your pain.

By the decision of the Executive Body of the World Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games, Arayik Harutyunyan, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 8th Pan-Armenian summer games, was awarded with the highest medal of the World Committee of the Pan-Armenian Games "Medal of Honor" for the best organization, coordination and support of the 8th Pan-Armenian summer games.
Ishkhan Zakaryan, President of the Pan-Armenian Games World Committee, handed over the medal to Arayik Harutyunyan.
107 sets of medals will be drawn for 17 sports included in the program of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games. More than 7,000 athletes from 41 countries and 181 cities are participating in the Games.
