Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan introduced Petros Martirosyan, the newly appointed head of the office coordinating the work of inspection bodies, to the staff.
Arayik Harutyunyan first thanked Arman Danielyan, deputy head of the office coordinating the work of inspection bodies, for coordinating the works in recent months and congratulated the newly appointed head.
"After long discussions, we made a decision to appoint Mr. Martirosyan as the head of the office coordinating the work of inspection bodies. The discussions were long, because we needed to make a decision, as a result of which we would be able to solve the problems, which are actually not few in the direction of inspections today. Of course, the office has done a lot of work, especially in recent months, but I think we have a task to increase the pace and find solutions. First of all, Mr. Danielyan, I want to thank you for doing a lot of work and coordinating the office these months. I am sure that the coincidence of your abilities with Mr. Martirosyan’s abilities will create a very serious opportunity for the inspection body to carry out work in the right direction.
Mr. Martirosyan, I congratulate you on your appointment. I am sure that the problems that we have already discussed and put before you will be solved in the near future. Your great experience in the field where you come from, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the directions that you have coordinated, will allow you to make serious progress also with the combination of capacities gained here in the direction of coordination of inspection bodies, expansion of powers and tools. I am sure that the personal qualities that you have and have demonstrated in your field are surely very necessary here, and the decision we have made is conditioned by this factor," said the Chief of the Prime Minister's Staff.
