Citizens living in Armenia and abroad can donate to the treasury account of the Ministry of Finance
The Ministry of Finance has opened a treasury account for donations in any currency from Armenians living in Armenia and abroad. The treasury account number is 900005002762.
The work continues in different regions aimed at the process of providing the forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh with accommodationg, food, medicine and other basic necessities.
Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the press secretary of the Prime Minister, presented the latest data on forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno Karabakh. Accordingly, as of 6:00 am, the number of forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh is 100,480, 21,076 vehicles crossed the Hakari bridge, and 83,468 people were registered. Male representatives make up about 49 percent, female representatives - 51 percent. According to Nazel Baghdasaryan, the information on gender and age is important in terms of finding targeted solutions. The number of pregnant women is 221, the number of disabled is 2083, and the number of wounded is 272.
More than 20 thousand minors have crossed the border of Armenia, and according to the data provided by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, 674 children have already been enrolled in various educational institutions of Armenia.
As of 8:00 pm, 40,257 people have used the shelters offered by the state. Nazeli Baghdasaryan stressed that after the short-term plans, the Armenian government will take steps towards the implementation of medium-term and long-term plans.
12,300 calls were registered to the 114 hotline of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. 22,300 applications were completed for the assessment of primary needs. More than 1,000 volunteers continue to work alongside the state in various aregions of Armenia. About 230 organizations have offered various services that will be provided to forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno Karabakh.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has provided a platform where forcibly displaced teachers from Nagorno Karabakh can fill in their data for future employment. The hotline of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport is 010-59-96-00. The Ministry of Health, together with the National Institute of Health, has taken a similar initiative. The hotline of the Ministry of Health is 8003.
