In the near future, the Government will make a decision regarding the tuition fees of forcibly displaced students from Nagorno Karabakh
Deputy Minister of Economy Rafael Gevorgyan and Prime Minister's Press Secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan presented from the Government's "Humanitarian Center" updated data on the inventory of the problems of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh and finding targeted solutions to them.
First, Nazeli Baghdasaryan noted that more than 52,000 people have already received one-time assistance of 100,000 AMD. She informed that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has launched another platform through which it is possible to track the process of providing assistance online. For this, it is necessary to enter the name, surname, certain identification data, after which confirmation will be received whether the given person is a beneficiary of the program or not, whether the payment will be made by the bank or whether the payment has already been made. If any issues arise over rejection, it is also reported on this platform.
This platform operates on the website dimum.ssa.am, that is, when entering the website, two fields are opened, one of which refers to one-time payments of 100,000 AMD, the other refers to the submission of minors' applications. In parallel with this process, applications from minors are already being considered. Of the 30,000 children registered at the moment, applications for 21,690 have already been submitted. Those applications are now being processed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
According to the latest data provided by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, as of today, 12,167 children are enrolled in educational institutions in Armenia, including 504 in Syunik, 243 in Vayots Dzor, 586 in Gegharkunik, 1,710 in Ararat, 2,124 in Kotayk, 564 in Aragatsotn, 1045in Armavir, 486 in Shirak, 702 in Lori, 364 in Tavush, 3839 in Yerevan.
The number of patients transferred from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia due to military operations and explosions and receiving treatment in various medical centers of the capital is 234. The condition of 76 of them is serious, 11 - extremely serious. The health condition of 7 children is moderate and appropriate medical care is provided. Nazeli Baghdasaryan presented that several patients were transferred to other countries - Bulgaria, France, Spain and other countries - for the purpose of monitoring their health. As of now, 21,743 forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh have been registered at polyclinics and outpatient clinics. The process of registration is still ongoing. It helps to carry out a realistic assessment of needs in order to properly organize their further health care services.
The press secretary of the Prime Minister reminded that on October 9, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy between the team of the Ministry of Economy and the forcibly displaced businessmen from Nagorno Karabakh. Deputy Minister of Economy Rafael Gevorgyan presented details about this meeting. Accordingly, many ideas and programs were discussed at the meeting, which have already been developed by the Ministry and submitted to the Government for approval. According to the Deputy Minister, the "Economic Modernization Measure" is already launched in Armenia, within the framework of which it is possible to get loan on preferential terms (the Ministry of Economy subsidizes loans and leasing for the purchase of machinery by up to 10 percentage points).
According to Rafael Gevorgyan, there are also agricultural programs. Detailed information about the programs can be obtained both on the website of the Ministry of Economy and at a similar discussion on agricultural programs to be held in the coming days. He noted that the meeting will take place on October 12, the announcement of which is posted on the website.
