Arayik Harutyunyan participates in the annual educational awards ceremony in the IT sector
Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan today participated in the annual educational awards ceremony in the field of Information Technologies, which took place within the framework of the annual international technology summit "Silicon Mountains 2023".
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of High-tech Industry Robert Khachatryan, Director of Synopsis Armenia Company, Chairman of State Committee Awarding Annual Awards to best IT students Hovik Musayelyan, representatives of the field, students and pupils who received educational awards, guests also participated in the event.
During the event, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan made a congratulatory speech, in which, in particular, he noted: "There is a lot of noise in the digital world right now, and I want to urge you not to be afraid of that noise. Just as those who deal with the stars and the universe turn noise into a number, then into information, so in this digital world, turn everything into a number and information, and with that you can separate the positive from the negative".
Next, the awards ceremony took place. The winners were awarded with a commemorative symbol, certificate and cash prize by Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan and the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan.
In order to develop, improve and foster the field of information technologies, by the decision of the Government, six educational awards have been established. Awards for the best university students, postgraduates and students are awarded annually. This year, 30 students of scientific and technical higher educational institutions of Armenia and 9 students of senior and secondary schools were awarded annual educational awards in the field of IT.
