Deputy PM Tigran Khachatryan chairs the regular session of the SME Development Council
The regular session of the Small and Medium Business Development Council of the Republic of Armenia was held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan.
During the session, the implementation of measures aimed at promoting the economic activity of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh was emphasized, stressing the need to combine the efforts of the state and private sectors for this purpose. The participants of the session exchanged thoughts regarding the necessary prerequisites for professional training and employment of displaced persons.
In the context of the work carried out by businessmen in the direction of training high-quality specialists, the possibility of revising some technical requirements for the implementation of educational programs was also touched upon.
The SME Development Council under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister is provided with professional support by the EBRD's Armenia Investment Council with the support of the "Good Governance Fund" of the United Kingdom government.
