Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan took part in the redeeming of the postage stamp block themed "Sport: European Weightlifting Championship"
Armenian weightlifters who won a gold medal at the 2023 European Weightlifting Championship, Gor Sahakyan, Davit Hovhannisyan, Samvel Gasparyan, Garik Karapetyan, are depicted on the card. On the stamp of the 500 AMD face value, an athlete is depicted at the moment of lifting a barbell. The inscription "European Weightlifting Championship" is depicted on the stamp in Armenian and English languages.
The redemption was carried out by the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Minister of High-tech Industry Robert Khachatryan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Chief Executive Officer of "Haypost" Company Arayik Abrahamyan, President of the Armenian Association of Philatelists of Armenia Hovik Musayelyan, 2023 European Weightlifting Championship gold medal winners: Gor Sahakyan, Davit Hovhannisyan, Samvel Gasparyan, Garik Karapetyan.
The logo of the European Weightlifting Championship is also depicted on the postage stamp block. The stamp was printed at the Cartor printing house in France, with an edition of 10,000. The author of the design is Vahagn Mkrtchyan. The postage stamp block was put into circulation today, December 1, 2023.
