Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan receives the head of the regional office of the French Development Agency
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan hosted the head of the Representative Office of the French Development Agency (AFD) for South Caucasus, Fanny Delpey. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Olivier Decottignies, was also present at the meeting.
Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the close cooperation between Armenia and the AFD and reaffirmed the readiness of the Armenian side to expand cooperation with the Agency.
The interlocutors exchanged thoughts on the current projects implemented in cooperation with the AFD, as well as new directions of possible cooperation.
As a key direction of cooperation, a special reference was made to the expansion of the scope of budgetary support.
The interlocutors also referred to the effective management of the water sector, the works carried out in the fields of agriculture and energy, as well as the construction process of the Vedi reservoir.
