Arayik Harutyunyan participates in the stamp redemption ceremony dedicated to the 120th birth anniversary of Aram Khachatryan





Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Chairman of the 120th Jubilee Anniversary Committee of Aram Khachatryan, took part in the stamp redemption ceremony on the theme "World Famous Armenians" held within the framework of the composer's 120th birth anniversary. The event took place at Aram Khachatryan House-Museum.

Arayik Harutyunyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of High-tech Industry Robert Khachatryan, Deputy CEO of "HayPost" Artak Ghulyan, Director of Aram Khachatryan House-Museum Armine Grigoryan, Chairman of the Armenian Union of Philatelists Hovik Musayelyan performed the redemption of the stamp.

The stamp with a nominal value of 500 AMD depicts the world-famous Armenian composer, conductor and pedagogue Aram Khachatryan (1903-1978).

The stamp also depicts the English version of the composer's signature, the logo dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Aram Khachatryan, the inscription "Aram Khachatryan" in Armenian and English.

Aram Khachatryan's works are among the samples of the global musical treasury. UNESCO ranked Khachatryan among the most famous composers of the 20th century.
