Persons forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh can use the state support program for housing security in border villages
Deputy Minister of Health Artak Jumayan and press secretary of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Manucharyan presented from the Government's "Humanitarian Center" details of the support programs implemented in the field of healthcare for compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh, as well as the state support program for housing security in border villages.
According to Artak Jumayan, 70,495 people have already been registered in primary health care centers. At the moment, all medical services offered in primary health care are provided to compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh. In particular, it refers to the vaccination of children, the registration of pregnant women, the registration of chronic patients, the further provision of medicines. At the moment, 639 pregnant women have been registered, and 374 births have been registered.
The Deputy Minister of Health emphasized that in 2023, 209 senior and 516 mid-level medical workers from among persons forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh were provided with continuous accredited professional development activities. 216 medical workers have already started working in the country, 34 of them work in regions. These 34 workers, as workers in regions, also benefit from the bonus program.
Artak Jumayan noted that from March 2024, some groups of drugs will be provided with an electronic prescription, therefore compatriots registered in regional polyclinics and rural dispensaries should approach the pharmacies with which the polyclinics and rural dispensaries have a contract, taking with them the electronic prescription and an identity document, and get the drugs.
Zaruhi Manucharyan presented details about the works carried out in the field of social support. This is about the state support program for housing security in border villages, which persons forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh can also use, if one of the forcibly displaced married couple has the citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, has a marriage certificate, and also owns land plot or has a semi-constructed building, permission to carry out construction works, design and estimate.
The state's support within the framework of this program reaches 16 million AMD, that is, the estimate, if it does not exceed 16 million AMD, then the repayment of the entire mortgage loan will be carried out by the state. The program will be available until December 30, 2025. According to another article of the program, the marriage certificate registered in a foreign country is also valid if it has consular authentication and there is a notarized Armenian translation. The first step to apply for the program is to apply to one of the partner banks of the program. Partner banks are Converse Bank, Evoca Bank, Ameria Bank and Acba Bank.
