Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan receives Adrienn Kiraly, the newly appointed Director for Neighborhood East & Institution Building of the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the delegation headed by Adrienn Kiraly, the newly appointed Director for Neighborhood East & Institution Building of the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission. Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos was also present at the meeting.
Welcoming the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister thanked Adrienn Kiraly for his visit to Armenia and briefly presented the steps taken by the Armenian government to address the primary needs of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, including housing support. A detailed reference was made to the planned works in the direction of housing security for forcibly displaced persons. From the perspective of ensuring stable living conditions for the forcibly displaced persons, the interlocutors emphasized the continuity of the work carried out in the direction of increasing employment opportunities and resilience.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
