Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan had a meeting with WB regional Vice President

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan had a meeting with the delegation led by Antonella Bassani, Vice President of the Europe and Central Asia region of the World Bank.

At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan emphasized constructive cooperation with WB in all key directions, emphasizing its importance in terms of applying best practices in Armenia.

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan presented the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative to the WB delegation, stressing its importance not only from the point of view of infrastructure development, but also from the point of view of establishing stability and peace in the region.

Reference was also made to the "Academic City" initiative. In this context, Mher Grigoryan highlighted the importance of cooperation with WB in the field of education, emphasizing the need to have a more competitive education system.

The interlocutors also discussed the possibilities of deepening cooperation in the areas of public administration reforms, digitization, human capital, energy and communication infrastructures, as well as the capital market.
