The Government of the Republic of Armenia

Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, head of "Open Government Partnership-Armenia" (OGP) Arayik Harutyunyan received the delegation of "Open Government Partnership" initiative.

Arayik Harutyunyan highlighted the importance of cooperation with the OGP in increasing the level of transparency, accountability and introducing innovation.

Arayik Harutyunyan noted that within the framework of this process, effective mechanisms have been introduced in the direction of fighting corruption, effective management of public resources, public participation and implementation of innovative solutions.

Regional Coordinator of OGP for the Eastern Partnership countries, Peter Varga, highly appreciated the efforts and determination of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to increase transparency, accountability of institutions, and public participation. Peter Varga noted that the OGP is ready to continue supporting the implementation of the reform agenda of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

At the same time, the role of the OGP in the implementation of the "Public Administration Reforms" agenda and some of Armenia’s international commitments was highlighted.
