Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan receives the US Under Secretary of State
Today, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the delegation led by US Under Secretary of State Uzra Zeya. US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Kristina Kvien was also present at the meeting.
Welcoming the visit of the Under Secretary of State to Armenia, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan emphasized the importance of the continuous progress of Armenia-US bilateral relations based on democratic values and jointly defined priorities.
During the meeting, the interlocutors referred to the importance and necessity of continuity of the implementation of the programs aimed at the fight against corruption and the strengthening of democratic values.
Among other issues of mutual interest, the parties also discussed the current works aimed at housing security and employment programs for people forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh and possible cooperation in those directions.
