Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan participates in the event dedicated to Builder's Day
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan participated in the event organized on the occasion of Builder's Day today. He congratulated the builders on the occasion of the professional holiday, wishing them fruitful work.
"With its current Action Plan, the government has undertaken the obligation to implement urban development projects of an unprecedented scale throughout the territory of the republic, building several hundred schools and pre-school institutions, health, sports, cultural facilities, thousands of kilometers of roads, implementing other complex and large-scale infrastructural projects.
To implement these large-scale projects, many times greater construction capacity will be required. The timely and quality implementation of the government's plan also largely depends on the capabilities of construction organizations, quality and compassionate work, investments in the direction of development, and, of course, the effectiveness of public-private partnership," Tigran Khachatryan noted in his speech.
The Deputy Prime Minister also spoke about the importance of quality and technological innovations. "We expect that construction organizations will continue to increase their capacity for timely implementation of our ambitious plans. What is important is that construction should be the driving force of the economy not only with its volume, but also with technological progress, quality, innovative approaches, and the culture of organizing construction works. In this context, I would like to thank all those builders who conscientiously implement state programs, sharing the realization that we are building for a quality future for us and our generations. The best assessment of your work today will be given by the children who tomorrow will study in newly built comfortable schools and preschools, the patients who will be served in medical institutions equipped with modern conditions, the people who will be able to travel quickly and safely on well-built roads”.
Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Gnel Sanosyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Yeghiazar Vardanyan and Chairman of the Union of Builders of Armenia Gagik Galstyan also made congratulatory speeches.
The speeches were followed by the awarding ceremony.
