An extraordinary meeting of the SME Development Council took place



Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan chaired the extraordinary session of the Small and Medium Business Development Council of the Republic of Armenia.

Summarizing the results of the implementation of the decisions made during the previous session, the Council referred to a number of issues related to tax policy and administration.

In particular, a detailed discussion was held between the members of the Council regarding the draft law of the Republic of Armenia "On Amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia" published on the E-draft platform, aimed at transferring the performance of professional work and the provision of services from special taxation systems to the general taxation system, which is directly related to the activities of SMEs operating in the territory of Armenia, performing professional work and providing services.

At the end of the session, an exchange of ideas took place, during which the members of the Council expressed their views on the raised issues and the proposed regulations, emphasizing the continuation of further discussions in order to find mutually acceptable options.
