Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan receives Armenian businessman and philanthropist Noubar Afeyan
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received Noubar Afeyan, an Armenian businessman and philanthropist, founder and executive director of Flagship Pioneering company. Minister of High-tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan also participated in the meeting.
Welcoming the guest, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the initiatives implemented in Armenia for years with the support of Noubar Afeyan, highlighting their significance in bringing systemic changes.
In this context, Noubar Afeyan informed about the creation of the "Afeyan Initiatives for Armenia" (AIFA) fund, expressing his willingness to cooperate with the Government in implementing new programs aimed at the development needs of Armenia.
The interlocutors exchanged ideas on current and new directions of cooperation, including initiatives aimed at the development of the technological sector.
