Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan receives the delegation lead by the head of the IMF mission in Armenia
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the delegation headed by Iva Petrova, head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission in Armenia.
During the meeting, the implementation of measures defined under the reserve program supported by the IMF was discussed. Highly appreciating the effective cooperation formed with the IMF, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the significance of the planned reforms in ensuring the macroeconomic stability and economic growth of the country. In this context, the interlocutors made a detailed reference to the public investment management system, as well as the main directions of fiscal policy reforms,
Tigran Khachatryan also presented to the IMF partners the current indicators of the programs aimed at addressing the socio-economic needs of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, referring in detail to the main expenditure directions for the implementation of the latter in 2025 under the the draft state budget.
