The investment program for the new road section of about 60 km Sisian-Kajaran will be implemented
The regular Cabinet meeting took place today, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
The government approved the proposal to sign the financial agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the European Investment Bank "Armenia. Sisian-Kajaran road section project" European Fund for Sustainable Development + Special Investment Window 1" . The investment program of the 60 km new road section Sisian-Kajaran (including the Bargushat tunnel), which is considered a priority for the Republic of Armenia, is planned to be implemented according to three sub-sections: 1) 27.12 km long Northern sub-section, km0+000 ÷ km27 +125, 2) 8.65 km long Bargushat tunnel subsection, km27+125 ÷ km35+775, 3) 24.25 km long Southern subsection, km35+775 ÷ km60+022.
The Executive approved the legislative initiative of the Government of the Republic of Armenia regarding amendments to the laws "On Youth Policy", "Local Self-Government" and "Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan". The legislative initiative is aimed at identifying and developing the abilities of young people, satisfying their educational, cultural and social interests and preferences, solving the problems faced by the youth and forming a public discourse around these solutions, ensuring the inclusion of young people in political, socio-economic and cultural life and raising the participation level of young people in decision-making.
Taxation of a number of professional works and services will be transferred to the general taxation system. The purpose of the decision is to transfer the performance of scientific works and the provision of services from special taxation systems to the general system of taxation.
During the Cabinet meeting Mesrop Mesropyan was nominated for the position of chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia.
The Executive has established the procedure for the tender for the issuance of a permit to conduct commercial activities in state or community-owned customs control zones and duty-free shops.
The Government approved the proposal to sign the 50 million euros loan agreement between the Republic of Armenia and OPEC Fund for International Development "Second Program for Green, Resilient and Inclusive Development Policy".
The Executive approved the legislative initiative of the Government of the Republic of Armenia regarding the bills "On Ratifying the Conventions on the Pacific Settlement of International Disputes" adopted in The Hague on July 29, 1899 and October 18, 1907.
The Government approved the proposal to sign the investment grant agreement "Yerevan's second energy efficiency project" between the Republic of Armenia and the European Investment Bank. The goal of the project is to reduce the energy consumption of buildings and support energy efficiency and renewable energy measures, which will include necessary works to improve the general technical condition of polyclinics and kindergartens.
