The 1st meeting of the Organizing and Holding Committee of the COP 17 took place
The 1st meeting of the Organizing and Holding Committee for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 17), established by the Prime Minister’s decision, took place. The 1st meeting was chaired by Hambardzum Matevosyan, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister.
The Committee’s meeting addressed key issues related to the organization of COP 17 in Armenia, including the content and technical issues for the organization of the events.
The Committee outlined the sequence of steps for organizing COP 17, outlines the existing visible and foreseeable problems, and planned the Committee's future work.
During the Committee meeting, the necessary tasks were formulated.
