Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan receives Ambassador of Serbia

Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia to the Republic of Armenia Tatjana Panajotovic Cvetkovic

Welcoming the Ambassador, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the continuous development of Armenia-Serbia cooperation and expressed hope that it will further expand in trade, economic, cultural, scientific and educational fields and other areas with potential for cooperation. In this context, the interlocutors exchanged views on individual cooperation initiatives in areas of mutual interest.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed special gratitude to the Government of Serbia for the support provided through the United Nations Development Program to address the needs of forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, aimed at strengthening the capacities of forcibly displaced women and youth, as well as stabilizing their living conditions in the host communities.

The Ambassador, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and assured that she will make every effort to further strengthen and expand bilateral relations.
