The Government makes changes to the procedure for granting a teacher with quality category
Today, the regular Cabinet meeting was held, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
The Government adopted a decision, as a result of which the list of necessary documents submitted by a teacher for the category will be clarified, as well as certain clarifications will be made regarding the procedures. In the near future, category-related documents will be accepted only electronically. This change will allow the commission to be authorized to grant the appropriate category, considering the compliance of the documents submitted by the teacher. The calculation of the additional payment will also be clarified. The additional payment will be specified in relation to the hours taught, taking into account the logic of other programs aimed at encouraging teaching activities, as well as increasing teacher salaries. Another important change proposed is the regulation on providing additional payment in case of combined work. The requirements for courses, which were previously more vague, have been clarified; in this case, it has been decided that being defined by the ministry is a mandatory condition. “Currently, there are more than 1,600 teachers in the system receiving a salary of 300-400 thousand drams, and more than 560 teachers receiving a salary of 400 thousand drams and more. These teachers are precisely those teachers who have both passed voluntarily certification and have received a category,” said Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.
The government has made amendments and additions to one of the previously adopted decisions. The purpose of the proposed amendment is to develop a unified/uniform policy within the framework of state support programs in the agricultural sector, contributing to the establishment of large and productive farms in agriculture. In particular, the amendment creates an opportunity to provide a beneficiary establishing large greenhouse farms with the opportunity to obtain a subsidized loan of up to 15 billion drams, which will provide an opportunity to establish a greenhouse of about 20 hectares.
The Government approved the list of a number of products subject to marking with identification means in the Republic of Armenia, the deadlines for the introduction of marking, and the rules for marking with identification means for the products included in the list. The purpose of the decision is to establish regulations related to the marking with identification means of a number of products (dairy products, beer, soft drinks, cosmetics, canned goods, etc.).
