Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan meets with MEDEF representatives in Paris




Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan met with representatives of the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF) within the framework of his working visit to France.

Welcoming the participants of the meeting, Tigran Khachatryan discussed in detail the main priorities of the Armenian economic policy and the indicators recorded in these areas, as well as the developments taking place in individual sectors of the economy. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister presented the work carried out by the government to continuously improve the investment climate in Armenia.

Stressing the importance of the continuous development of economic cooperation between Armenia and France, Deputy Prime Minister Khachatryan considered the active involvement of French companies in both the private sector of the Republic of Armenia and major state programs as a priority. Tigran Khachatryan assured that the government is making consistent efforts to strengthen ties between the business circles of the two countries and make the Armenian investment environment more understandable to French companies.

The representatives of the companies present at the meeting, referring to the main directions of their activities, expressed their willingness to use their experience and knowledge to implement investment initiatives in Armenia in various formats.

The Deputy Prime Minister also addressed in detail a number of issues raised by the MEDEF representatives, as well as the proposals submitted on specific areas of cooperation. In order to discuss the outlined ideas in more detail, the parties agreed to plan a visit to Armenia in the near future by a mission consisting of representatives of French companies.
