Today the RA government commission for coordination of charitable programs has held a regular meeting presided at by Mr. S. Ter-Simonyan, chairman of the commission.
Discussed were 6 charitable programs, including: a project for the detection, diagnosis and cure of therapeutic forms of tuberculosis implemented by the Armenia Office of Cross-Border Physicians Association (France), which aims the provision of the necessary facilities for the delivery of free treatment and medical control of drug-resistent forms of tuberculosis at the prophylactic centers of Yerevan and Abovian towns and outpatient clinics No. 18 and No.19 located in Shengavit and Malatia-Sebastia districts of the capital; an AUA-implemented project for the improvement of eye-care services in Gegharkunik marz by establishing a regional eye-care center fund in Sevan; "Armenia" All-Armenian Fund-sponsored projects for the manufacture and free delivery of school furniture to the secondary school of Drembon village and re-habilitation of the drinking-water supply network in Maghavuz village of Martakert region of NKR; a UNHCR Armenia Office
