Today government commission on coordination of charitable programs has met, presided at by commission chairman S. Ter-Simonyan.
The commission has reviewed 3 charitable programs. In particular, it approved the following programs carried out by Hayastan Pan - Armenian fund: water supply improvement in Shahumian district of Dilijan town of Tavoush marz and design - budgeting work for capital repairs of a kindergarten in Mergashen village of Kotayk marz.
The commission has also approved a program carried out by "Armenian-Austrian Charitable Center" charity, which is aimed at the improvement of ophthalmologic services for children in Shirak marz through creation of modern conditions for the provision of such services.
The commission has also examined a series of follow-up projects under the previously approved ones, as well as programs of import of charitable freight addressed to various organizations operational in Armenia.
