On November 23, 2006, a Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan led-government delegation is due to leave Yerevan for capital of Belarus Minsk on a 3-day working visit to take part in the forthcoming session of CIS Council of Heads of Government. The delegation will comprise Minister, Chief of RA Government Staff Manuk Topuzyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Gegham Gharibjanyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Belarus, Permanent Representative of the Republic Armenia in the CIS Statutory and other bodies Oleg Yesayan, Authorized Representative of the Republic of Armenia in the CIS Commission on Economic Affairs of CIS Economic Council Artak Vardanyan, heads of departments from the Office of Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other officials.
The Heads of Government will discuss questions concerning the cooperation between CIS-member States in various spheres. Over twenty different documents will be signed as prepared by the CIS Executive Committee and other bodies and concerted with the Economic Council, the Council of Foreign Ministers and other bodies. In particular, it is scheduled to review and adopt a draft resolution on the course of implementation of the plan of key actions directed towards the expansion and increase of efficiency in the 2003-2010 economic cooperation of CIS-member States, a draft resolution on the performance of the program of actions on development of the CIS for the period up till 2005. The session will hear the report by the Head of the Antiterrorist Center of CIS-member States on the activities of the Center. The participants will also discuss the parameters of the 2007 single budget of CIS organs as financed from the budgetary funds of CIS-member States, as well as a number of organizational questions.
A number of decisions are due to be signed on the strategy of cooperation between CIS-member States in the sphere of informatics and the plan of strategic action on member States
