Today the board of trustees of "Noravank" scientific-educational fund has held a meeting at the premises of the fund, which was presided at by Chairman of Board Mr. A. Margaryan.
Discussed were the report on the work done by "Noravank" SEF in the second half-year of 2004 and the proposed schedule of activities to be carried out in the framework of the projects approved for 2005.
With reference to agenda item 1, it was reported that in the period under review, the fund's activities were conducted in 3 main directions: social surveys, political analyses and informational programs. About a dozen of seminars had been held, over a hundredth of scientific papers published and several translations made in the meantime. In addition, the representatives of the fund had attended the international symposium held in Tehran in late 2004. Among the publications realized, the edition of the regular issues of "21st Century," a periodical review of strategical and conceptual orientation, as well as "Region" and "Armenia" news bulletins have to be mentioned. The website of "Noravank" SEF was put up which is currently being restructured and refreshed. The 500-pieces strong library of "Noravank" has been replenished owing to various purchases and donations. The fund has addressed a good number of problems faced by the Armenian communities of Caucasus and the minor groups of Armenians of different languages and beliefs.
The meeting has also discussed and approved the list of activities to carry out under the fund's program of action for 2005. In particular, "The Regional Year Book
